Moles
Moles are not normally seen but their Molehills are.
Moles are about 5" to 6" long with a short dark velvet like coat and usually a pink nose.
They are rarely seen, spending most of their life underground.
They eat earthworms which are stored for future use.
They do not like wet soil!
They damage domestic lawns and Bowling Greens by throwing up Molehills as they tunnel underground
Moles are a menace to Farmers, as the earth from their hills is picked up when crops are cut, contaminating the final product.
Controlled using traps.
